March 1st:  Staying Energetically Balanced

 

Through a series of simple Energy Exercises, done 5 minutes daily, you can re-train your energy systems to be resilient to stress, have more energy throughout the day, maintain a sense of calm and clearer perception, sleep better, stay healthy, and feel younger and more joyful.

 

March 15th: Reducing Stress and Toxins

 

Both stress and toxins will make us suseptible to illness. Learn simple techniques to help yourself and others calm the ‘fight~flight’ response and keep stress hormones from flooding the body. And simple self-massage techniques rid the body of toxins that affect the organs and energy flow, sometimes also causing pain.

Included in this workshop will be some basic exercises from Donna Eden’s  ‘5 minute Daily Energy Routine– specifically the ones’ that calm the nervous system such as the simple “Hook Up” and “Wayne Cook’s Hook-Up”. These exercises are extremely grounding and help to balance the body’s energies. Other exercises such as “The Triple-Warmer Smoothie”, Tracing the Triple Warmer (TW) Meridian’ backwards, the “Fear Tap”, Holding TW and other Neurovascular’s for stress, holding Triple Warmer sedating points and spleen strengthening Points, and the Triple Warmer / Spleen Hug will also be covered as these help to re-train the energies to recover it’s equilibrium under stress. Essentially you will gain an arsenal of tools to employ when stress hormones flood the body. Furthermore, learning which points to massage to release toxins that collect under stress (emotional, mental, from foods, additives, air, water, environment, etc) is detrimental in maintaining good health and well-being.

 

April 12th:  Preventing or Overcoming Illness

“There are specific meridians and systems in Chinese Medicine which boost the Immune System. Learn which acupuncture points to massage and hold or which exercises to do, which will in minutes ward off a cold or help you recover more quickly.and pains will slowly slip away when you make this part of your day.

 

April 26th:  Managing Pain ~ Ensuring Restful Sleep

If your pain is chronic or occassional, these techniques can help– sometimes seeming like a miracle. You can also learn to ease the pain of another or incorporate it into your bodywork or healing practice. The sleep techniques will re-train your system that governs habits to form new better habits which calm the mind and prepare the body for deep restorative sleep. Again, they take just minutes before bed and are amazingly effective.

 

May 3rd:  Reduce Wrinkles and Improve Vision & Eye Health

There has been so much advancement in the field of anti-aging and reducing free radicals can be done through exercise as well as improving diet. Energy has to move to keep any area on your body healthy and youthful.  In fact, the human body craves energy movement throughout the body and face, because energy movement is life and it will move toxins out and draw fresh vibrancy in. Help your face and eyes come alive with simple exercises. Improve vision and reduce ‘floaters’, cataracts, and macular degeneration.

 

May 17th:  Meridian Tracing

There are 14 meridians in the Chinese Medicine system which deliver energy to all the organs and other channels of the body. Just like in a river or on the freeway, when there is a blockage, disruption of ‘flow’ occurs. In the body blocked energy often contributes to pain, disease or illness. Lethargy, depression and low-vitality can also be from blockages. When one traces their meridians they encourage efficient flow of ‘Qi/Chi’ and health and wellbeing improves. Also, learning to flush specific meridians can help boost the immune system or heal infections/diseases of the lungs or other organs.
